Batik Solo, Central Java, Indonesia

Solo is a city in Central Java which is still attached to Javanese culture. And have a slogan 'Solo the spirit of Java'. Solo was determined to maintain and preserve the culture of Java. Solo is one of the famous batik fabric shopping tour in Indonesia. There are lots of centers of batik cloth, including the famous batik village and the village of batik Laweyan and Kauman. Batik is one of one of Solo products and has become an icon in the city of Solo. Typical of Solo batik is known throughout Indonesia and became the main stay export product. Solo batik is famous for its sytle and traditional batik pattern in the process or in the batik stamp. Material used in the city in the country such as Java soga already well known. The pattern remained among others, famous for its 'sidomukti' and 'sidoluhur'.

Batik Village Laweya
Laweyan is one of the Central Batik in Solo. The village is a lot of history and the iconic Solo Batik. batik is a traditional arts work that many people occupied Laweyan. Since the 19th century the village was known as the village of batik. That is why the village was once known as the hometown Laweyan skipper batik in the 1970s.

Batik Village Kauman
Besides Laweyan, Kauman also an industrial center in Solo Batik.  Hundred of pieces of batik cloth aged over 35 year exhibited in a number of Javanese wooden house. Various equipment whose age is not less batik old also was in the house. To illustrate the past glory of the batik industry also display hundreds of stamps batik producers marking period. Existence feels right in the middle of the village that has always lived from the typical Solo batik industry.
