Mount Rinjani is Indonesia's third highest mountain. Potensial plant contained, among others laportea stimulans, aglaia argentea, pterospermum janicum, ficusbenjamina, syzygium sp, diptero carpus hasseltii, d imbricatus, eidelweis, perisstylus rintjaniensis dan p.lombokensis. There are also mammals Paradoxurus hemaproditus rinjanicus, muntiacus muntjak nainggolani, yrachypithecus auraratus kohlbruggei, manis javanica, philemon buceroides neglectus, ducula lacernulata sasakensis, oriolus chinensis broderipii and any kind of reptile.
Mount Rinjani storing one of them is the mystery of the existence of 'Dewi Enjeni. According to the beliefs surrounding communities 'Dewi Enjeni' is the queen of evil ruler of Mount Rinjani. They believe that 'Dewi Enjeni' born of the marriage of man Sasak with the devil, flawless and still honor the descendants of King Selaparang. In honor 'Dewi Enjeni, people often hold religious ceremonies on Mount Rinjani by releasing small fish made of thin gold in to the lake.
Mount Rinjani is the second highest volcano in Indonesia. The highest mountain is Mount Kerinci. Mount Rinjani National Park is part of Mount Rinjani which dominated most of the sights of the Island of Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara.
Mount Rinjani has a crater with a width of about 10 kilometers, abd there is a crater lake called the lake 'Segara Anak' with a depth of 230 meters. Flowing water of the lake is forming a very beautiful waterfall flowing through a steep ravine.
With the color of the water is blue, the lake is like the ocean child. The view in the morning when the sun rises is part of the paradise scenenry of Mount Rinjani is very impressive.
