Mount Krakatau, Indonesia

Krakatau is a volcanic archipelago that is still active and is in Sunda Strait beetween the Island of Java and Sumatra. This name had been used on a volcanic peak of Mount Krakatau is missing because of the eruption on 26-27 August 1883. The eruption of Krakatau caused global climate change. the world was once a dark due to volcanic ash that covered the atmosphere. The sun was shinning dim. Noted that the eruption of Krakatau was the first major disaster in the world.In 1927 or about 40 years after the eruption of Mount Krakatau, volcano appeared known as Anak Krakatau.

According to professor named Ueda Nakayama, an expert on the mountain, the volcano is still active and relatively safe althrough there is often a small exploison, there are only certain times of the tourists are prohibited from approaching the area because of the danger incurred lava volcano.

Mount Krakatau Ancient

Krakatau Mountain region in the Sunda Strait, experts estimate that in ancient times there is an enormous mountain in the Sunda Strait which eventually erupted explosively leaving a Caldera (crater large), ancient called Mount Krakatau, which is the parent of the eruption of Krakatau in 1883. When the water drowning, Java Separate into two and created the island of Sumatra.

Geological expert B.G Escher and several other experts found a natural occurence narrated from ancient Krakatau, which in the text is called Mount Batuwara.

According to the book the King Library Parwa the ancient Krakatau height 2.000 meters above sea level. Result of a great exploison that destroyed most of the body leaving the ancient Krakatau caldera (crater large) on strait Sunda. The edge of the crater known as Rakata Island, Panjang Island and Sertung Island.
